Murray spent 20 years in the Air Force (RCAF & CAF), serving all over Canada as well as in Germany. Subsequently he ventured into aerospace industries in Montreal and retired as a production manager.
Moving to Pugwash in 2003 he joined the Fire Department and has become a Level I qualified Firefighter. He currently serves as the department’s Safety Officer.
Murray is also the CCFFA Director to the NSFS as well as filling the position of Deputy Coordinator in the Regional Emergency Management Organization for Cumberland County.
