Wayne Johnstone has been a member of the Waterville and District Fire Department since 1976 and has held several offices in the Department. At present Wayne holds the position of Fire Chief. He is a member of the Kings County Firefighters Association, has been a member of the Fire Service Association of Nova Scotia since 1982, and is also a member of the Maritime Fire Chiefs Association since 1986, and the Canadian Association of Fire Chiefs since 2005.
